as i mentioned in the last post, we have the rosebroughs to thank for introducing us to the fab game of "kings & serfs". here are marybeth and myself as the king and queen. i have to say they have more creative hats than us!
mauricio as my queen ;) we all knew he would show his true colors eventually.
ha ha ha! i am the king!!!!
linda and marybeth as the lowly serfs.
trouble making serfs.
king marybeth enjoying her reign.
the most handsome serf of the evening. sorry zach, i am referring to the guy above.
although the rosebroughs have great hats, our impromptu serf gear at the hotel was pretty fantastic.
you can't beat a disposable hotel shower cap and a leftover plastic cookie package! sarah is such a good sport.

messing around with daddy. at least this time it was OUTSIDE. yes, my husband and children were messing around INSIDE the museum right next to priceless picassos. we are such an educated and well-mannered family. (is that why the docent thought the little boy who was TOUCHING the paintings belonged to me and asked me to keep him closer to us so he wouldn't do it anymore? you be the judge.)

downtown west palm beach. across from where we were watching. gor-geous! next time i'll photshop out the light from the barricade at the bottom. i think it gives it some urban flair!
oooooooo! awwwwwwww!
seriously was the best one we could get. apparently we've added two blonde boys to the family. and who needs lawn chairs when you have tree roots to sit on?
these following pics will show how our children usually view the fireworks every year.

i was trying to take a picture out through the windshield and this is what i got! look it's snowing in south florida in july!
then home for our traditional flag cake after the show. nummy! this year with ice cream. even better!
