Fun with Friends!

we had a really fun visit with some friends of mine from high school. rhonda, jeff and their adorable daughter, shanen came all the way from missouri. as you can see from the pics, we had lots of fun while they were here. the girls adored shanen and thought she was really cool. they came and stayed with us for a few nights on thier way to a caribbean cruise. oh la la! thanks for coming to hang out with us. we had such a great time! let's do it again soon!

rhonda treated all of the girls to manicures! that was a real treat. although this scarey asian dude kept trying to pick up on rhonda! umm...how do you say "take a hike buddy" in vietnamese?

A Trip to the Science Museum

last week i took the girls to the science museum for a fun and air conditioned outing! we always have fun when we go there and this time was no exception. afterward we went to cheesecake factory for $1.50 cheesecake. (no pic since the battery on the camera died!) ): but we sure enjoyed the cheesecake! and we even had leftovers for dad.

this was some kind of scientific wind thingy that suspended this beachball in air. it had some really cool scientific name but it escapes me at the moment. i was never a science nerd. word nerd yes, but science no. but i do think it's really cool stuff!

okay this is a cool section with tons of brain teasers that we always try to figure out. most of the time we can do it, but the next time we go back we have forgotten how. this puzzle was one where you had to fit 6 blocks into this tiny square and we laughed because i jokingly said "watch gracie solve it in no time" and she did! no kidding! sarah and i were feeling pretty dumb after that one because she and i sat there for like 30 min trying to figure it out! are you smarter than a 4 yr old?

sarah is NOT smarter than a 4 yr old.

The Puppies are Growing!

just wanted to shoot a few pics of the growing puppies. they are getting soooo big and running around everywhere and some are even barking! it is so funny. brady had fun playing with them since, for now, they are his size. not for long!

Hangin with Katie

last week we had sarah's bff ,katie, over for a few days. they have been buds since they were both a year old, and they are a week apart in age. katie being the more mature one by 7 days. she is an animal lover to the max so she was in heaven with all the puppies. and best of all i don't think i took brady out once while she was here! you're the best katie!



the girls really had fun with her. we watched movies, played with the puppies, swam, ate homemade bluberry and chocolate chip pancakes, played with the puppies, made cookies, and did i mention played with the puppies? we love our bffs!!!
