one of the top ten reasons why south florida is sooo grand

i took the little girls to the park one day during the 2 hours we have between school dismissal times and lookie what we saw. these were taken in mid-november. south florida does have it's perks. (you know, besides fabulous winter weather and me lounging by the pool all day sipping on dr. pepper.)

there's always a silver lining

apparently that brilliant storm that we were running from did a lovely number on palm beach county. umm..tornado warning and a few lightning strikes. good thing we were outside near it right? but after our day of sweating in the south florida sun and then getting rained upon we finished our evening with this: gotta love a good sunset!
