Bye Bye Fay

hey just to let you know we are all fine here. fay brought us nothing but a lot of rain and some wind. our pool is totally full and overflowing and we have a moat around the ENTIRE house and not just the driveway like we do for normal rainstorms . but other than that it was nothing for us. the girls were even outside in their raincoats playing in the wind. there were some tornadoes close by but not so close that we had to run for cover.

we will be back in school tomorrow!!! yea!!!!!!! and no becky i will keep the hurricanes any day over tornadoes!! at least we know when it's coming and we can prepare for days before it hits!! hated dealing with that in missouri and HATED the earthquakes in california. remember that one we missed in college heidi? no thanks.

so until the next one, heather the storm reporter signing out!

You're both crazy. I enjoy the extreme heat over hurricanes AND tornadoes!

I'm glad to hear that everything is good with you! And yes the quake was a close call for us -- but didn't we hit a deer on that trip?

Hope you enjoy some quiet with the girls back in school!

Thanks, Heather! I sort of stole a section from your blog. And an idea from another part. xD Hope you don't mind, but if you do let me know. :)

Glad you guys are ok. Fay is evil.

I don't miss the the hurricanes to much. I don't care for extreme heat or tornadoes, blizards, floods... But if I were to choose at least the hurricanes give you plenty of warning! And the houses are built to weather them! Glad you are doing good! And taking the boat to school could be cool! The Werstons in the Coconut Creek ward realy did take their daughter to school on a boat, a canoe!

I agree with Liz. I will take the gross hot heat over what you have to deal with, I don't know how you do it, I would be scared to death. I've lived in Bakersfield all my life and would have no idea how to handle anything other than the heat and a few very mild earthquakes that I've felt. Your one brave women.
I'm so glad we can keep in touch and get to know each others families. Your girls are very cute.

Glad to hear you are still with us. The new Draper Temple almost burned down this week because of a brush fire. Fortunately the wind was blowing the opposite direction. We could have used some of that rain.
